SHS Alumni Meeting April 1
Annual business meeting of the Seaford High School Alumni Association, Thursday, April 1, 7 p.m. at the Western Sussex Boys and Girls Club. On the agenda will be the election of officers. The meeting is open to all members.

Easter Egg Hunt
Seaford Department of Parks and Recreation annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Ross Mansion on Saturday, April 3, starting at 10 a.m. The hunt is open for children: toddlers to nine-year-olds. Bring an Easter basket to collect eggs. The Easter Bunny will be there to start the festivities. There will be prizes for everyone.

Indoor Yard Sale at St. John’s
St. John’s U.M. Church, Seaford, indoor yard sale, Saturday, April 3, 7 to 11 a.m. at the church fellowship hall. Pine and Poplar streets.

Acorn Club Prayer Breakfast
The General Federation of Women’s Clubs Acorn Club of Seaford, Inc., will have a prayer breakfast April 8, 9 a.m., at the Grace Baptist Church, Atlanta Road. The speaker will be Karen Bongard and soloist Carol Lynch. Breakfast will be served following the worship service. Hostess will be Marilee Bradley and committee.

Elks Easter Egg Hunt
Easter Egg Hunt provided by the Seaford Elks Lodge #2458, Saturday, April 10, 1 p.m. Late arrivals will not get a chance to hunt for eggs. This is for children from ages 1-12. Prizes will be given in various age categories and snacks and drinks will be available. Call Janice Cecil at 875-3810 for information.

PTO Dinner Out Program
Support the Frederick Douglass PTO by having dinner at Friendly’s Restaurant. Come out for dinner on April 27 between 5 and 8 p.m. when 10 percent of the total dinner sales will be donated to the PTO.
AAUW Geranium Sales
The Seaford American Association of University Women is taking orders for the annual geranium sale to raise money for local scholarships. Plants are $4 each in red, white, pink or fuchsia. To order, call 629-4619 or 628-8494 or any AAUW member by Friday, April 2. Plants will be picked up at the West Seaford School parking lot on Saturday, April 24, between 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Miss-Little Miss Pageant
The Miss and Little Miss Seaford Pageant will take place on Friday, April 23, at 7 p.m. in the Seaford High School Madden Auditorium. Sponsored by the Seaford Lioness Club, contestants are now being sought. The Miss Seaford contest is open to girls who reside in Seaford and are a freshman, sophomore, or junior at Seaford High School (must turn 14 prior to April 23). Little Miss contestants must live in Seaford and be in kindergarten or first grade in Seaford. Applications can be obtained by calling Bonny Hastings at 628-8150 or 629-9596. The deadline for applications to be submitted is Thursday, April 8.

Baltimore’s Inner Harbor
The Seaford Department of Parks and Recreation bus trip to the Baltimore Inner Harbor on Saturday, May 1, cost $13 per person. Visit the aquarium, browse the shops. Depart from the back parking lot of the high school at 8:30 a.m. and leave Baltimore at 4 p.m. to return to Seaford. Deadline to register is Friday, April 16, by 5 p.m. Call 629-6809.

The National Zoo
The Seaford Department of Parks and Recreation trip to National Zoo, Washington, D.C., planned for June 12, cost $14 per person. Pack a lunch or eat in one of the park’s many cafes. Depart from the back high school parking lot at 8 a.m. and leave the zoo at 4 p.m. to return to Seaford. The deadline to sign up is May 28. Call 629-6809.

Three Little Bakers Theatre
The Seaford Department of Parks and Recreation trip to the Three Little Bakers Dinner Theatre in Wilmington on Sunday, May 16, cost $57.95. Tickets are available on a first come, first serve basis — there are only 42 tickets available. The cost includes bus fee as well as a dinner and show. Seats will be close to the stage.

Trip to Inner Harbor
(Deadline to register is April 16)
The Seaford Department of Parks and Recreation is sponsoring a bus trip to the Baltimore Inner Harbor on Saturday, May 1, cost $13 per person. Visit the aquarium, browse the shops, or take the water taxi around the harbor. There are plenty of places to eat, shop and enjoy yourself. We will depart from the back parking lot of the high school at 8:30 a.m. and we will leave Baltimore at 4 p.m. to return to Seaford.Any questions call the Dept. of Parks and Recreation at 629-6809.
