Living Water plans meetings
Al and Karren Hamm, co-pastors of Palmstown Church in Carlisle, Pa., will speak at Living Water Church March 31 through April 2. There will be an open meeting Friday, March 31, at 7:30 p.m.
Karren Hamm will conduct a women's mini-retreat on Saturday, April 1, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. A light breakfast and lunch are included and reservations may be made with Joyce Cooper (875-1405). The cost of the retreat is $10. Al Hamm will speak at a men's rally at 7:30 p.m.
Both Hamms will speak at the 10 a.m. service on Sunday, April 2.

St Stephen's dinner set
A chicken and crust dinner will be held Saturday, April 1, from 4 to 7 p.m., at St. Stephen's United Methodist Church, Camelot Hall, 103 E. State St., Delmar. Cost for adults will be $7 and for children ages 6-12, $3.50. Children 5 and under will be admitted free. Carryouts are $7.

Yard sale will help Hospice
Christ Lutheran Church, Shipley and Spruce streets, Seaford, will hold a yard sale Saturday, April 1, 7 a.m. to noon, sponsored by Aid Association for Lutherans (AAL) branch 3379. All proceeds will be matched by AAL and presented to Delaware Hospice. To rent space, call Emmitt Lineweaver at 629-2495. Space will rent for $10 per 100 square feet.

New Testament seminar set
"A Walk Thru The New Testament," a seminar for adults and youth, will be held at Atlanta Road Alliance Church on Sunday, April 2, from 1:30 to 6:30 p.m. This seminar is sponsored by Atlanta Road Church and Grace Baptist Church.
In this seminar the New Testament is taught by matching hand signs and motions with key events, people and concepts of scripture. The fee is $12. Refreshments will be served. For more information, call 629-7693.

Church to host dramatization
Dagsboro Church of God will present "Heavens Gates Hell's Flames," a live dramatization featuring a cast of 50, Sunday through Tuesday, April 2, 3 and 4, at 7 p.m. Admission is free. Revival services will be held at the church April 5 - 8, 7 p.m. featuring evangelist Jeff Hanan.

St. John's to hold oyster lunch
St. John A.M.E. Zion Church, Rd 62, Ross Point, Laurel, is sponsoring an oyster, chicken or fish platter luncheon, starting at noon on March 31. For details, call 875-4042.

Bible study set for adults, kids
"Walk Thru the Old Testament," for adults, and "Old Testament Kids in the Book," for ages 6-12, will be held Sunday, April 9, from 1:30 to 6:30 p.m., at the Milford Senior Center, Park Avenue.
Cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children and teens through age 18, or $25 maximum per family.

Sounds of Grace to sing
The Portsville United Methodist Church, Portsville, will present a gospel concert featuring the Sounds of Grace of Bridgeville Sunday, April 2. at 8:50 a.m.

Baker to speak in Laurel
On Wednesday, April 5, at 7:15 p.m., the Rev. David W. Baker will be the guest speaker at Christ United Methodist Church, 510 Central Ave., Laurel.
Baker is a graduate of Wicomico High, Salisbury, Md.; Union College, Ky.; University of Delaware and Drew Theological Seminary. In 1950, he was appointed to Centenary Church, Laurel.
Baker had 10 other appointments in the active ministry from 1939-1984, including district superintendent of the Salisbury District and Conference Council director. After retirement, he became associate pastor at Epworth in Rehoboth Beach, under his son, Jonathan. He retired again in 1998 after 60 years in the ordained ministry. He currently serves on the Conference Commission on archives and history and chairs the committee conducting the financial campaign to secure the financial future of Barrett's Chapel.

Parents' Night Out April 7
The Seaford Presbyterian Church is sponsoring a Parents Night Out program for children ages kindergarten through sixth grade on Friday, April 7, from 6-9 p.m. The program will feature Easter crafts and games. Dinner will be provided. For details, call Sandy at 628-9808.
