Bridgeville Senior Center Spring Gala April 27
The Bridgeville Senior Center Board of Directors is hosting the first Annual Senior’s Spring Gala on Saturday, April 27, from 6 to 9 p.m. This dinner/dance will be held at the Union United Methodist Church located at 2 North Laws St., Bridgeville, Delaware (across from Baltimore Trust). Sunday Breakfast Buffet April 28
An All-You-Can-Eat Sunday Breakfast Buffet will be served by the Galestown Ruritan Club on the 4th Sunday of each month October -May, 7-10 a.m., at the Galestown (Md.) Community Hall. This month it will be held March 24. Cost is $5 for adults, $3 children 6-12 years of age. The buffet features pancakes, eggs, scrapple, sausage, creamed chipped beef, biscuits, potato casserole, hominy, fruit cup, and sticky buns.

Greenwood Spring Festival June 1
The Greenwood Mennonite School will be holding its 16th Annual Spring Festival on Saturday, June 1, on the school grounds.
The day begins with an old-fashioned, all-you-can-eat breakfast, 7:30-10 a.m. At 9 a.m., the outdoor booths open, featuring hundreds of items including fresh-made foods, handcrafted items, antiques, books, new and used kids items, plants, plus a petting zoo, rides, and a quilting demonstration.
Antique tractors will also be featured this year, along with the popular Spring Festival Auction.
All proceeds from the Greenwood Spring Festival benefit the 74-year-old Greenwood Mennonite School, the longest-running Mennonite elementary school in the United States. GMS offers quality Christian education for grades K-12, with the current enrollment at about 290 students.
The school is located on Mennonite School Road, between Routes 16 and 36, east of Greenwood.
