Seaford Ministerium Services
The Seaford Ministerium announces that a Good Friday service will be March 25 at 7 p.m., at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church on the last seven sayings of Christ. Preaching will be pastors from Concord United Methodist Church, Seaford Church of the Nazarene, the Atlanta Road Alliance Missionary Church, Seaford Presbyterian Church, St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, and Mt. Laurel Wesleyan Musical
Laurel Wesleyan Church will be presenting the Easter Musical “Friend of a Wounded Heart” on Friday, March 25, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, March 27, at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. This musical features choir, instrumental, and solo music along with multimedia, dance, and drama about the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. Laurel Wesleyan Church is located a half-mile north of Laurel on US 13A. Nursery care will be provided during each performance. For questions, call the office at 875-5380.

Church of God Easter musical
The Delmar Church of God of Prophecy will present the Easter musical drama production, “The Nails That Set Me Free.” Directed and produced by three-time National Crystal Communicator Award winners Ron, Deb and Wendy Craig, the production will premier March 24, 25, and 26 at 7:30 p.m. with free admission. The drama will feature full-set design, special effects, full costumes, lighting, singing and choreography. The host pastor of the church is Bishop Michael Phillips. The church is located on US 13, three miles north of the Maryland-Delaware state line. An Easter basket will be given away each night. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Seats are limited. Galestown UMC Yard sale
Galestown United Methodist Church will have a yard sale on Saturday, March 26, starting at 7 a.m. There will be a variety of breakfast foods, and at 11 a.m. oyster sandwiches, and homemade vegetable beef soup (take outs will be available). Call 410-883-2149 for directions.

Sunrise Service in Laurel
The Laurel Baptist Church will have an Easter Sunrise Service on church grounds, beginning at 6 a.m. on March 27, with a breakfast to follow. For further information, call, Rev. Steven Booth, at 875-7998.

St. Philip’s Holy Week
St. Philip’s Episcopal Church in Laurel remaining Holy Week services: Thursday, March 24 - Maundy Thursday, soup dinner at 6 p.m., Eucharist and stripping of the Altar at 7 p.m.; Friday, March 25 - Good Friday, Stations of the Cross at noon; Sunday, March 27 - Easter Sunday at 9:30 a.m., Holy Eucharist.

The Ark Easter event
Seaford Wesleyan Church, The Ark, located at 26630 Sussex Highway, will be having a special Easter event. The message of Jesus’ Resurrection along with lunch and an Easter Egg hunt will be on Saturday, March 26, from noon to 2 p.m. Call 628-1020 for more information.

New Zion UMC concert
The second Generation Community Chorus, of Federalsburg, will be in concert on Saturday, March 26, at 7 p.m. at New Zion United Methodist Church, 428 W. 6th St., Laurel. The pastor is Timothy Duffield Sr. There will be a free will offering.
Bridgeville Sunrise Service
Bridgeville Community Easter Sunrise Service will be at the Bridgeville Cemetery Pond, on Sunday, March 27, at 6:30 a.m. Breakfast will be served by the Family Ministry at the Bridgeville Fellowship Hall after the service.

Services at Centenary UMC
Centenary United Methodist Church, Poplar and Market streets, Laurel, will celebrate “The Last Supper” at their Maundy Thursday service on March 24,at 7 p.m. Centenary will also host the Community Good Friday service on March 25, at 7 p.m. This worship service is sponsored by the Laurel Ministerial Association. Guest speaker will be Michael Monge, presenting the Gospel of Mark. The Chancel Choir of Centenary U.M.C. will offer the Easter cantata “Cornerstone” at a combined worship celebration on Easter Sunday, March 27, at 11 a.m. All are welcome.

St. Luke’s Episcopal Church
St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Seaford will have the following services during Holy Week:
Maundy Thursday - 6 p.m.” Agapé in the Great Hall; 7 p.m. Celebration of the Institution of the Holy Eucharist, Stripping of the Altar, Reserving of the Sacrament.
Good Friday - Noon: The Good Friday Liturgy Book of Common Prayer; Holy Communion from the reserved Sacrament.
Holy Saturday - 10 a.m., the Liturgy of Christ, at the Tomb.
Easter Eve, Saturday, March 26 - 8 p.m.: The Great Vigil of Easter: “The Queen of Feasts; The Lighting of the New Fire, The First Eucharist of Easter.
Easter Day, Sunday, March 27 - one service, 10 a.m.; Festival Holy Eucharist.

Trinity Easter Sunrise service
Trinity United Methodist Church, near Trap Pond, will have Easter Sunrise Service on Sunday, March 27 at 6:30 a.m. Everyone is invited. For additional information, please call 875-7715.

Church of Christ hymn sing
There will be an old-fashioned hymn sing on Sunday, April 10, 2:30-4 p.m. at the Seaford Church of Christ, 20989 Sussex Highway, Seaford. No collections will be taken and light refreshments will be served. For more information call 629-6206.

House of Praise event
The following events will be happening at The House of Praise For All People, 10280 Shawnee Road, Greenwood: On Saturday, April 16 - A Marriage Seminar with Dr. Fred Antonelli, Ph.D. entitled “Marriage Management.” Registration is required. The cost will be $50 per couple. This cost will include all materials and a light luncheon. Antonelli is an ordained minister of 23 years and the founder and director of Life Counseling Center in Easton. He is a clinically licensed counselor with the National Christian Counselors Association and a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. Antonelli hosted a syndicated Christian radio show for nine years entitled “Rock Alive” for teens and young adults. Sunday, April 24 - Dennis DeGrasse will be speaking Sunday at 10 a.m. and Sunday at 7 p.m. He will be teaching from the scriptures as well as ministering prophetically and praying for the sick.

Melson United Church
Melson United Methodist Church will hold its Easter Sunrise Service at 7 a.m. Breakfast will be served after the service. At 10 a.m. the Church Choir will present an Easter Musical, an Alpha & Omega Production. All are welcome.
