Spring into Fashion review this weekend
Nanticoke Health Services recently held a planning luncheon for the upcoming Spring Into Fashion review at the Western Sussex Boys & Girls Club. In addition to a fashion show, Spring Into Fashion will feature an arts and crafts showcase, and a luncheon provided by Jimmy's Grille. The event takes place at St. John's Church on Sunday, March 25, at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults, and $7.50 for children under 12. The ticket price includes a light lunch and fashions by Phillips Apparel of Salisbury, Pitter-Patter of Bethany Beach, O'Neal Jewelers of Laurel, and Lighthouse Landing of Fenwick. Community health project
The Sunrise Project, a community health outreach program, will hold a free kickoff event on Monday, March 26 at Delaware Technical & Community College, Owens Campus, Georgetown. From noon to 3 p.m., the Sunrise Project mobile testing facility will be parked behind the Arts & Science Center to offer free educational information, counseling, and health testing services. Free hotdogs and balloons will be provided. The event is open to the public; a Spanish-speaking counselor will be available. For more information, contact Terry Hagans, 856-2388.

Red Cross offers course
The American Red Cross of the Delmarva Peninsula will be offering courses designed to help keep families safer. Pre-registration is required and can be made by calling the Red Cross Southern Delaware Office, 1-800-777-6620. A First Aid Basics Course will be held Monday, March 26, from 5-9 p.m., at St. John's Methodist Church, 300 Pine St., Seaford. Fee $25.
