Lent services planned
The Seaford Ministerium is planning Lent services at the following churches: March 28 - St. Luke's Episcopal Church, with the Rev. Gayle Conrow of Gethsemane U.M.C. April 4 - Grace Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jeanne Kirby of St. Luke's Episcopal. All services will start at noon.

Women's retreat planned
Living Water Church, US 9, Laurel, is sponsoring a spring women's retreat Saturday, April 7, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (The retreat was originally scheduled for March 31). Karren Hamm, senior pastor at Palmstown Church, Carlisle, Pa., will speak. Hamm is on the executive committee for WILLOW, the women's ministry of Elim Fellowship. A light breakfast and lunch will be served. Registration is $10 and can be paid at the door. For reservations, call Melody Collins, 934-9761.

Organ workshop planned
On Saturday, March 24, Dan Miller, will conduct a free organ workshop at Centenary United Methodist Church, Poplar and Market streets, Laurel, 9 a.m. to noon. A continental breakfast will begin at 8:30 a.m. At 7 p.m., Miller will play a dedication concert for the new organ. Miller has been a featured solo organist with the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra, the Florida Philharmonic, the King's Brass and other ensembles. He is product manager at Rodgers Instruments. Hymn sing March 25
A hymn sing featuring The Lights of Home with Pam Rush from Delmar and Randy Marine and Barbara Bialk from Galestown will be Sunday, March 25, 2 p.m. at Galestown UMC, Galestown, Md. For details, call 846-3028 or email Bialk at bibialk@prodigy.net

Evangelistic team coming
Beginning March 25, the Hal Webb Evangelistic Team will conduct a series of meetings at First Baptist Church, 543 N. Bradford St., Seaford. The Hal Webb team consists of Dr. Hal Webb, evangelist, and Dr. Theron Babcock, his associate and musician, along with their wives. For more than 40 years they have conducted evangelistic campaigns, along with radio, recording, camp and missionary activities. Babcock, organist and song writer, will play his own electronic organ and chimes with a specially equipped speaker system that produces a wide variety of organ music. Webb has preached in the Philippines, South America, India and other mission fields. Services will be held at 7 p.m. from March 25 through March 30.

New Vision to perform
The southern gospel group New Vision will perform at the Seaford Church of the Nazarene on Sunday, March 26, at 6 p.m. The church is located at 520 S. Dual Highway. For information call 629-3929.

Trinity to host revival
Trinity United Methodist Church of Laurel is having a revival Friday, March 30, through Sunday, April 1, with speaker Rick Bonfim. The Epworth Quartet will perform and on Friday night, pastor Mike Truitt is the host. For more information call 856-1506.

Youth conference planned
The Bridgeville Church of God, 1 mile west of Bridgeville on US 404, is hosting its first annual Storm Youth Conference for teens, youth workers and pastors. Workshops include evangelism, praise and worship and drama. Tickets are $10 and may be purchased at the door.

St. Stephen's to serve dinner
St. Stephen's United Methodist Church, 101-5 E. State Street, Delmar, will hold a chicken and crust dinner Saturday, March 31, 4 to 7 p.m. in Camelot Hall at the church. The price for adults is $7 and for children, $3.50. Carryouts will be available. Tickets may be bought at the door.

Nazarene plans silent auction
The Single Mom's Ministry at the Laurel Church of the Nazarene is planning a spring silent auction of work by local artists and craftspeople. Proceeds will benefit the ministry. Interested parties who would like to donate an item may call Bobbi at 875-8708. A reception will be held before the auction. Also to benefit the ministry, the Odd Shop, 124 E. Market St., Laurel, is selling clay paperweights featuring paw prints of favorite pets or hand prints. The cost is $4. For an appointment, call 875-8708.

Hymn sing set for April 29
Wesley United Methodist Church, 3 miles northwest of Seaford on Atlanta Road, will host a hymn sing Sunday, April 29, at 6:30 p.m. Guests will be The Lights of Home. Free refreshments will follow. For information telephone 629-7222.

Hootenanny scheduled
