Church holding fund-raiser
Christ the Cornerstone Community Church, 28714 Seaford Road, Laurel, is selling cookie dough, soft pretzels, cheesecakes, coffee, teas and hot chocolate.

Ministerium serving hot meals
The Greater Laurel Ministerium is serving hot meals every Friday evening, 6 to 7:30 p.m., at Centenary United Methodist Church, West and Poplar streets. Center plans weekly services

Church to dedicate building
The River of Life Christian Center, 17 West Market St., Greenwood, will sponsor two services Friday, March 22, 7 p.m. and Sunday, March 24, 11 a.m., to dedicate its new building. Speaker will be Terrell M. Rummage, pastor of Preach The Word Christian Center, Gary, Ind., and former director of the Bible Training Center of Living Word Christian Center, Forest Park, Ill. He is an ordained minister and a graduate of Rhema Bible College, Tulsa, Okla.
Rummage’s wife Charlotte will be the guest speaker at a luncheon Saturday, March 23, 11:30 a.m. at the church. All women are invited. She is administrator of Preach The Word Christian Center, Gary, Ind., and a graduate of Rhema Bible College, Tulsa, Okla.

Church to sponsor Life Chain

Hymn sing set for Palm Sunday
Blades United Methodist Church, South Market Street, Blades, will host a hymn sing on Palm Sunday, March 24, 2 to 4 p.m. Performers will include Jim and Patty Jeannette, B.J. Hardin, Earl Hoopes and Greg Ellingsworth.
Hymn sing to be at St. Paul’s
St. Pauls’ Church, Old Stage Road, Laurel, will host a hymn sing Sunday, March 24, 7 p.m. featuring the Cokesbury Lighthouse Singers (formerly the O’Day Family). Refreshments will be served.
Women’s conference planned
The women of C.H. Foggie AME Zion Church, Federalsburg Road, Bridgeville, will hold a woman’s conference, beginning Friday, March 22, 7:30 p.m., with a consecration service. Beth Morris of Trinity Holiness Church, Frankford, will speak.

St. Stephen’s plans dinner
St. Stephen’s United Methodist Church, 101-5 State Street, Delmar, will hold its annual chicken and crust dinner Saturday, March 23, 4 to 7 p.m. in Camelot Hall. First Baptist plans Cantata
The First Baptist Church of Seaford choir and its drama players will present “I Saw the Lord,” an Easter musical by Ron and Shelly Hamilton, Sunday, March 24, 7 p.m., in the church auditorium. Laurel Ministerial plans Easter
The Laurel Ministerial Association will hold a community Good Friday Service, March 29, at the Laurel Wesleyan Church, Route 13A, north of Laurel, at 7 p.m.
The association will sponsor an Easter sunrise service at the Laureltowne Park across from the shopping area, along the river, at 6 a.m. Pastor Ron Schatz of the Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church charge will speak. The Cherry Tree Café will serve coffee and muffins following the service.
In case of rain, the event will be held at the Victory Tabernacle Church of God, Route 13A, south of Blades.
Galestown to hold yard sale

Alliance Church cantata set
The choir of The Atlanta Road Alliance Church, under the direction of Richard Trice, will present the Easter cantata, “In The Fullness of Time,” Friday, March 29, 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, March 31, 7 p.m. For more information call 629-7693. Sunrise Service March 31
The Delmar Kiwanis Club will sponsor a sunrise service Easter Sunday, March 31, at St. Stephen’s Cemetery Park (next to the Delmar Plaza) at 7 a.m. The Rev. Sam McWilliams will speak.
Breakfast will be served at Union United Methodist Church from 7 to 9 a.m. Admission is $5. The church is two blocks south of St. Stephen’s Cemetery.
