Seaford Ministerium Services
The Seaford Ministerium announces that a Good Friday service will be March 25 at 7 p.m., at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church on the last seven sayings of Christ. Preaching will be pastors from Concord United Methodist Church, Seaford Church of the Nazarene, the Atlanta Road Alliance Missionary Church, Seaford Presbyterian Church, St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, and Mt. Laurel Wesleyan Musical
Laurel Wesleyan Church will be presenting the Easter Musical “Friend of a Wounded Heart” on Friday, March 25, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, March 27, at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. This musical features choir, instrumental, and solo music along with multimedia, dance, and drama about the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. Laurel Wesleyan Church is located a half-mile north of Laurel on US 13A. Nursery care will be provided during each performance. For questions, call the office at 875-5380.

Church of God Easter musical
The Delmar Church of God of Prophecy will present the Easter musical drama production, “The Nails That Set Me Free.” Directed and produced by three-time National Crystal Communicator Award winners Ron, Deb and Wendy Craig, the production will premier March 24, 25, and 26 at 7:30 p.m. with free admission. The drama will feature full-set design, special effects, full costumes, lighting, singing and choreography. The host pastor of the church is Bishop Michael Phillips. The church is located on US 13, three miles north of the Maryland-Delaware state line. An Easter basket will be given away each night. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Seats are limited. Galestown UMCYard sale
Galestown United Methodist Church will have a yard sale on Saturday, March 26, starting at 7 a.m. There will be a variety of breakfast foods, and at 11 a.m. oyster sandwiches, and homemade vegetable beef soup (take outs will be available). Call 410-883-2149 for directions.

Itzel family in concert
Singers and songwriters Bill and Karen Itzel and their family will be in concert at the Atlanta Road Alliance Church in Seaford on Sunday, March 20, at 7 p.m. They have performed in more than 2,000 concerts and written and recorded over 100 songs. They travel with their children, Jessica, Ryan and Shannon, ministering at over 120 events a year. The concert will feature songs from their latest recording, “It Takes a Family.” Bill Itzel formerly sang with the Speer family, has appeared on the Bill Gaither “Homecoming” videos, and his number-one song, “He’s Still in the Fire,” was nominated for a Grammy and Dove Award. This concert is open to the public without charge. An offering will be received. Sunrise Service in Laurel
The Laurel Baptist Church will have an Easter Sunrise Service on church grounds, beginning at 6 a.m. on March 27, with a breakfast to follow. For further information, call, Rev. Steven Booth, at 875-7998.

St. Paul’s UMC concert
The “No Name Band” will be in concert at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, in Laurel, on Saturday, March 19. This will be the first time ever at St. Paul’s. This band is noted for their singing ability and playing various instruments. The band uses a piano, steel, lead, and rhythm guitars. They sing some of the old favorites and many of the Gaither classics. The concert will begin at 7 p.m. St. Paul’s is located just east of US 13, on Old Stage Road. For more information call 856-6107

Church of God Palm Sunday
The Bridgeville Church of God, 7046 Seashore Highway (Rt. 404 west of Bridgeville) will have a Palm Sunday service on March 20, featuring Dick Sands of the Son Spot in Ocean City, Md., at 10:30 a.m. On Sunday evening the church will show the film “The Passion” at 6 o’clock.

Mt. Pleasant Passover Lamb
On Sunday, March 20, the Signs of Light will be presenting “The Passover Lamb” at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church in Laurel at 6:30 p.m. The Signs of Light ministry has existed for about four years to bring glory to God using American sign language and interpretive movement to interpret contemporary Christian songs. Nazarene visitors

St. Philip’s Episcopal Church in Laurel plans Holy Week services:

Thursday, March 24 - Maundy Thursday, soup dinner at 6 p.m., Eucharist and stripping of the Altar at 7 p.m.;

Union UMC diner
Union United Methodist Church, 2 N. Laws St., Bridgeville, in its fellowship hall (across from the bank) will have its monthly ‘Union Station Diner’ on Wednesday, March 23, from 5-7 p.m. Food includes meatloaf, mashed potatoes, vegetable and dessert. The Ark Easter event
Seaford Wesleyan Church, The Ark, located at 26630 Sussex Highway, will be having a special Easter event. The message of Jesus’ Resurrection along with lunch and an Easter Egg hunt will be on Saturday, March 26, from noon to 2 p.m. Call 628-1020 for more information.

New Zion UMC concert
The second Generation Community Chorus, of Federalsburg, will be in concert on Saturday, March 26, at 7 p.m. at New Zion United Methodist Church, 428 W. 6th St., Laurel. The pastor is Timothy Duffield Sr. There will be a free will offering.

Macedonia Women’s Day
Macedonia A.M.E. Church, Seaford, annual Women’s Day Service is Sunday, March 20, from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Dinner will be served between 1 and 3 p.m. The morning preacher will be Zakuja Bakari and the afternoon preacher, the Rev. Helena Bailey. The chairperson is Joyce McLendon and the co-chair is Lula Heath.

Latin Mass Sunday, March 20
A Latin mass according to the Missal of 1962 is celebrated on the third Sunday of every month at 3 p.m. at Holy Cross Church in Dover. The mass will be celebrated on March 20. The mass is always a Missa Cantata using traditional Gregorian chant. For further information, call 302-674-5781.

Bridgeville Sunrise Service
Bridgeville Community Easter Sunrise Service will be at the Bridgeville Cemetery Pond, on Sunday, March 27, at 6:30 a.m. Breakfast will be served by the Family Ministry at the Bridgeville Fellowship Hall after the service.
