Senior center plans trips, helps with taxes
The CHEER Center in Greenwood has planned the following events and activities:

Thursday, March 16 - Trip to Oak Orchard Center for a St. Patrick's Day party. Leaving as soon as the bus gets in.

Friday, March 17 - Shopping at Ames, leaving at approximately 10 a.m.

Monday, March 20 - Bible study at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Ervin Lockhart.

Tuesday, March 21 - Shopping at Dollar General and Rose's, leaving at approximately 10 a.m.

Wednesday, March 22 - Trip to Any-Where, leaving at approximately 10 a.m.

Thursday, March 23 - Shopping at Paradise Market, leaving at approximately 10 a.m. Grocery shopping after lunch.

Friday, March 24 - Crafts with Vicki at 10 a.m.
Monday, March 27 - Bible study at 10:30 with the Rv. James Scott.

Tuesday, March 28 - Members of the Milford Center will visit. Cheerful Notes Glee Choirs will entertain at 10:30 a.m.

Wednesday, March 29 - Shopping at Bylers, leaving as soon as the bus gets in.

Thursday, March 30 - Games in the morning. Grocery shopping after lunch.

Friday, March 31 - Trip to No-Where, leaving at approximately 10 a.m.

The AARP provides free tax service for seniors over 55 every Friday until April 14, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., by appointment only. Call 349-5237.

AARP defensive driving classes to be held March 22 and 23, 9:30 to 2:30, with a lunch break. Cost $10 per person. Call 349-5237 to sign up.
Census questionnaire assistance is provided Tuesdays and Fridays at the center.
