Scrap-booking Class
The Bridgeville Public Library has scheduled a Scrap-booking Class on Thursday, March 20, at 7 p.m. Candy Carey will be demonstrating the basic steps of preserving your memories. The class will be held in St. Mary’s Parish Hall, located behind the Bridgeville Library.

Bridgeville computers
The Bridgeville Public Library is celebrating the arrival of public access computing. With a grant from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Bridgeville Public Library has purchased four new Gateway computers and a new laser printer. Join the library for an Open House on Friday, March 21 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Refreshments will be served, and staff members will be on hand to answer questions and demonstrate how to use the computers. The Bridgeville Public Library is located at 210 Market St. Founded in 1919, the library has provided Internet public access since 1997 on a limited basis. The new computers add to the library’s growing infrastructure, which includes a computerized catalog and a full-time connection to Delaware’s digital library

Ruritan Club Shoot
The Ellendale Ruritan Club will host a Ham/Turkey Shoot on the fourth Saturday of the month now through April, at 11:30 p.m., at Ellendale V.F.W., Road 607 (1/2 mile south of Rt. 113 and 16 intersection). This month it will be held March 22. Refreshments will be available for sale.

Girl Scouts celebration
On Friday, March 14, at 6 p.m., all area Girl Scouts, Brownies, Daisies, and their leaders are invited for a special birthday celebration to be hosted by the Greenwood Public Library at the Greenwood VFW. Storytelling will be provided by Donna Prine and display tables will be available for projects or pictures that feature Scouting at its best. The Greenwood VFW is located on Governors Avenue. Woodbridge PTO
The Woodbridge Elementary PTO is inviting the parents of the school’s students to join them. The PTO is now planning its Spring Festival on May 3. Call Pam Miller at 349-1418 for details.
