Band to hold dinner
The Seaford Band Association will hold a spaghetti dinner and silent auction to benefit the Seaford High School Band Saturday, March 31, 4 to 7 p.m. at St. John's United Methodist Church, Third and Pine streets, Seaford. Entertainment will be provided by the high school jazz band and chorus. Tickets will be available at the door. Admission for adults will be $6 and for children 4 to 12, $3. Children under 3 are admitted free.

Family Math Night tonight
Frederick Douglass Intermediate School, Seaford, will host Family Math Night Thursday, March 8, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the gymnasium.

Annual youth debate planned
Soroptimist International of Seaford Inc. will hold its 2001 Youth Forum Saturday, March 10, 10 a.m. at the Western Sussex Boys and Girls Club. The forum provides an opportunity for students to express their views and debate, under guidance, two important community issues: how to prevent teen suicide and how to promote multi-cultural societies. The debate is open to the public.

New fitness session set
A new fitness session, led by Carol Lynch, will start in mid-March at St. John's United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. Monday, Wednesday and Friday classes will start Monday, March 12, at 9 a.m. Child care will be offered.The Tuesday and Thursday classes will get under way Tuesday, March 13, at 5:30 p.m. Call Lynch, 629-7539, to register.
