Promise Keepers Dinner
Promise Keepers at Centenary United Methodist Church, Laurel, spaghetti dinner, Saturday, March 12, 4-6:30 p.m. in the church dining room. All profits will go for a college scholarship fund. Cost: $5 adults, $3 children, under age 6 free.

Friendly’s Fund-Raiser Night
Blades Elementary School PTO fund raiser, Tuesday, March 15, 5 to 8 p.m., Friendly’s in Seaford with 10 percent of the proceeds donated to the PTO. No coupons can be used for dinner.

Pancake Breakfast

Greenwood Mennonite School
A spaghetti supper, Saturday, March 19, at Greenwood Mennonite School, 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Cost is $8 for adults, $6 for students or $25 per family. Children under three are free. Take-out meals will also be available. Proceeds from the dinner will benefit the school’s music program. The Greenwood Mennonite School is located at 12802 Mennonite School Road in Greenwood. Blades Breakfast March 6
Blades Firemen and Ladies Auxiliary breakfast, Sunday, March 6, 8 to 11 a.m., adults $6; children $3; at the Blades Fire Hall. This event takes place the first Sunday of each month to support the fire company.

Scouts’ Pancake Supper
Pancake supper supports scouts March 6

Choices of the Heart
Choices of the Heart Conference, March 4 and 5, Atlanta Road Alliance Church, Seaford. Christie Miller is the guest speaker. Open to women and teens ages 13-17. Two-day cost is $25 and $10 (adults/teens) or one-day cost is $15 and $5. Six workshops on a variety of topics each day. Auxiliary Used Book Sale

Duck’s Unlimited Dinner-Dance

Fall Foliage Sail
Delmar Alumni Association is sponsoring a seven night “Fall Foliage Sail” to New England and Canada, Oct. 1 to 8 on the Carnival Triumph. The ship sets sail from New York City and will dock in Boston and Portland, Maine and Sydney and Halifax, Nova Scotia. Total price per person based on double occupancy for an inside cabin is $924; ocean view $1,064; balcony $1,174. Antwan Lake of the Atlanta Falcons, and a former Seaford resident, will be at Pizza King on Thursday, March 3, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. to help start up a new youth football league in the Seaford Department of Parks and Recreation.

Stay & Play at Parks & Rec

Toddler Time at Library
The Greenwood Public Library is open to children ages six months to three years every Thursday morning at 10:30. Toddler Time is a new program designed to stimulate learning by exposing the youngest of children to the joy of language, movement, music and, of course, books. Coffee and tea are provided for adults. The Greenwood Library is located on 16 West, seven miles south of Harrington and is situated next door to the Post Office, on the corner of Market and Mill streets. Call 349-5309.
