Woodbridge Senior selected
Chad Timothy Robinson, a Woodbridge Senior from Greenwood, was selected as a delegate to the 39th Annual United States Senate Youth Program (USSYP). This program is dedicated to inspiring future leaders. Robinson will be among 104 top students who spend a week, March 3 through 12 in our nation's capital. He will see Congress in action and visit the Capitol, the White House, Supreme Court, State Department, Library of Congress and the Pentagon. Witnessing the national government first hand, he will have many opportunities to hear and talk with its leaders. As well as an all-expense-paid trip to Washington, he will receive a $2,000 college scholarship for undergraduate studies. The program was enacted in 1962 by Senate Resolution 324 to bring two students from each state.
