Indoor Yard Sale
An Indoor Yard Sale will be held on Saturday, March 1, from 7 a.m.-noon, at Melson Church Community Hall, Melson Road, Delmar, Md. New and used items, baked goods, breakfast foods, drinks will be available for sale. Tables for rent. Call 846-2431 or 896-2918 for information.

Sports show, auction planned
The Kiwanis Club of Delmar and Delmarva Shorebirds are sponsoring a Sports Card and Collectible Show on Saturday, March 15, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a live auction beginning at 3 p.m. The show will be at the Arthur W. Perdue Stadium (Delmarva Shorebird Stadium). Sherman the Shorebird will be there to sign autographs. There will be tours of the stadium, door prizes and 50/50 raffles. Auction items will include a Washington Wizards autographed team pennant (includes Michael Jordanís autograph), baseball, football, basketball and racing autographed items and golf outings. Delmar mayors received plaque as a 2002 Tree City USA community
Bryan Hall, representing the Delaware State Forest Service, presented Delmar Delaware Mayor John McDonnell and Delmar Maryland Deputy Mayor Larry Points with a plaque congratulating Delmarís selection as a Tree City USA Community for the Year 2002.

Congratulations to Lanelle and Jeff Ziemer of Orlando, Fla., on the birth of their new baby girl, Allyssa Jean. She was born Friday, Feb. 21, at 2 p.m., weighing 8 pounds 8 ounces. She was 21 and 1/2 inches long. The proud grandparents are Jeff and Joanne Ziemer, Punta Gorda, Fla.

Keith and Loris Naugle are the proud parents of a new son, Payton Thomas. Payton was born Feb. 10, weighing 7 pounds, 4 ounces. He was 20 and 1/2 inches long. He was welcomed home by his sister, Hailey, who is 2 years old.

Come to church at Shiloh U.M.C. on Sunday, March 2, at the morning service to hear Allen Reustle preach.

St. Stephenís Sunday school will have a Sunday school breakfast on Saturday, March 15, 7 to 10:30 a.m. in Camelot Hall, State Street, Delmar. There will also be a baked goods sale and a basket raffle.
