The recent snow/ice storm prevented scheduled guests from attending
services in the Laurel Mt. Pleasant Charge. On Feb. 27, the charge
has rescheduled these guests at all churches.
King's will honor host volunteers from the Laurel School District;
St. George's will welcome Head Start staff; and Mt. Pleasant will
honor the Lady Bulldogs, Laurel High's basketball team. Recent worship
services in the charge have focused on teamwork.
Conference to be in OC
The Association of Vineyard Churches East Coast Women's Conference
will be March 23 to 25 in Ocean City, Md. Conference speakers and
workshop teachers are coming from Maine to California. Helen Lucia
Moore of Jericho Fellowship International will be speaking on March
24 in the morning.

Pancake supper is planned
There will be a Shrove Tuesday pancake supper at Centenary United
Methodist Church, Laurel, Tuesday, March 7, from 4 until 7 p.m. Pancakes,
ham and sausage will be served.
Cost is $5 per person and children under 6 are admitted free.
This supper is sponsored by the Sunday school department of the church.

Jimmy Carmean will be the guest speaker at the Jericho Fellowship
International meeting Tuesday, March 14, 7 p.m., at Mt. Olivet Church,
High Street, Seaford.
Carmean is founder and pastor at New Beginnings Worship Center in
Felton. He founded Gumboro Fellowship Church and was also founding
pastor of Eastern Shore Ministries.

Latin mass set for March 19
A Latin mass according to the Missal of 1962 is celebrated on the
third Sunday of every month at 3 p.m. at Holy Cross Church in Dover.
The mass is always a Missa Cantata using traditional Gregorian chant.

Church to host luncheon
St. George's United Methodist Church, located between Laurel and Delmar,
will host a luncheon Saturday, March 4, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Foods will include oyster, chicken salad and hot dog sandwiches, vegetable
soup, peas and dumplings and desserts. There will be a bake table
and plants for sale.
