PTA to look at referendum
The Woodbridge Secondary PTA will hold a community meeting to discuss the upcoming referendum on Thursday, Feb. 24, in the Woodbridge Elementary auditorium in Greenwood. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. Dr. Kevin Carson will be present to answer questions. Light refreshments will be served following the meeting.

BVFD to hold dinner
Bridgeville Volunteer Fire Company will host its 11th annual spring dinner at the Bridgeville Fire Hall Sunday, March 5, from noon to 5 p.m.
The dinner will include roast beef and dumplings. Cost is: adults, $7.50; children under 12, $3; pre-school, free. Carry-outs will be available. Containers and carry-out trays will be furnished. Cost for carry-outs is $8 each.
Library seeks board member
The Bridgeville Library Board of Trustees is looking for an applicant to fill a vacancy on the board for one year of an unexpired term. The applicant must be a resident of the Woodbridge School District, preferably within the Bridgeville Post Office service area.
The library board oversees the library as representatives of the community. They determine policies governing the operation and programs of the library. They develop and oversee the operating budget. They actively support library legislation. The board has public meetings at least 10 times a year.
The appointment will be made by the resident judge of the Superior Court of Sussex County. Applications are available from the Bridgeville Public Library. Deadline for receipt of applications is March 15.
