Nanticoke Health's Auxiliary plans fashion show March 26
The Nanticoke Health Services Auxiliary's "Fashions 2000" will be held Sunday, March 26, at St. John's Fellowship Hall in Seaford.
Festivities will begin at 2 p.m. Co-chairmen Joyce Mackler, Pat Olekszyk, along with committee members, Dot Dixon, Jane Trauth, Wendy Karnish, Kelly Rodriquez and Lois Ewing, have endeavored to have new and interesting fashions along with a spring time atmosphere.
This year's event will feature men and women's fashions from Phillips Apparel Store in Salisbury, women's formal fashions from Stained Glass Bridal in Delmar, and children's fashions from Pitter Patter in Bethany Beach.
Models will consist of members of the community.
Tickets are $15 and can be purchased in the Nanticoke's Volunteer Office (629-6611, ext. 2301) or through any member of the Fashion Show committee.

March of Dimes Walkathon kick-off rally February 10
The fight to save babies' lives goes on. Every three-and-a-half minutes a baby is born with a birth defect.
Each year more than three-million volunteers help to advance the mission of the March of Dimes to improve the health of babies.
The Sussex County Chapter of the March of Dimes needs volunteers to help with this year's Walkathon at the Village of Cool Branch in Seaford on April 29. The kick-of rally is Thursday, Feb. 10, at the Best Western in Seaford.
Volunteers, walkers and committee members are needed to help reach the $16,000 goal for this year's walk.

Coping with loss Feb. 14-April 3
"Are you trying to cope with the loss of a partner through death, separation or divorce? Come to "The Beginning Experience," a coping group that meets for nine consecutive began Monday, Feb. 7 and runs Mondays through April 3, 7-9 p.m., at Delaware Tech, Georgetown.
