Child Safety Week Feb. 11-17
SEAFORD - The week of Feb. 11-17 is Child Passenger Safety Awareness Week. The Seaford Police Department will be conducting a child safety seat checkpoint on Feb. 14 from 7-10 a.m. on Norman A. Eskridge Highway in the area of the Shore Brite Car Wash and Laundromat.
All motorists with children that are restrained with a child safety seat or with a safety seat installed in their vehicle are encouraged to stop by and have the child safety seat inspected for proper installation.
Literature will also be available to parents and Child Safety Seat Technicians will be on hand to answer questions.
