Networking Workshop
Seaford Business and Professional Women’s Club, in cooperation with the Greater Seaford Chamber of Commerce, will sponsor a workshop for members and the general public on Jan. 29 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Seaford Library. The subject is Networking. Some common purposes of networking are: to make new contacts for business or job search, obtaining useful information, practical help or advice, fundraising, recognition and political clout. Registration is limited and available on a first-come basis. Light refreshments will be served. Call Bunnie Williams 629-5500 to sign up. The cost is $10. Check made out to the Seaford BPW, P.O. SVFD Auxiliary meeting
The Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Seaford Volunteer Fire Department will hold their January meeting at the Sail Loft in Milford on Monday, Jan. 28. Members are to meet at the fire house at 5:15 p.m. Installation of officers for 2002 will be held.
Read-Aloud training
READ-ALOUD Delaware Volunteer training session will be held Wednesday, Jan. 30, at 1 p.m. in the Seaford Public Library. Volunteer readers are needed at various reading sites in Sussex County. Call 856-2527 for further information.

Seaford Pageants planned
The Seaford Lioness Club is currently planning the annual Little Miss/Miss Seaford Pageants, which will be held on Friday, March 8, at 7 p.m. in the Seaford High School auditorium.
