Union UMC diner Jan. 26
Union United Methodist Church, 2 N. Laws St., Bridgeville, in its fellowship hall (across from the bank) will have its monthly “Union Station Diner” on Wednesday, Jan. 26, from 5-7 p.m. Price for adults is $6; kids 10 and under, $3. Featuring spaghetti dinner. Call the church for any questions, 337-7409. Proceeds benefit the church.

Alliance Church seminar
On Sunday, Jan. 23, the Atlanta Road Alliance Church will host an Unveiling Glory seminar, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Lunch will be provided and there is no charge. The central theme of Unveiling Glory is restoring God as the central focus of our personal culture and keeping him at the heart of the church. The Atlanta Road Alliance Church is located at 22625 Atlanta Road, 1-1/2 miles north of the Nylon Capitol Shopping Plaza, next to Seaford Animal Hospital. Macedonia AME Church
On Sunday, Jan. 23, at 4 p.m., Macedonia AME Church, 431 North St., Seaford, will have a worship service. Preceding the service the church will have its Truck and Bus Driver’s Annual Dinner, starting at 2 p.m. The keynote speaker will be the Rev. St. John AME Zion Church
The youth department of St. John AME Zion Church, Ross Point, Laurel, will be hosting service on Sunday, Jan. 23. The 11 a.m. speaker will be Brother Christopher Dockins from Laurel. Minister Demarius Hardy, from New Beginnings Covenant Ministry, Berlin, Md., will be the 3:30 p.m. speaker. Dinner will be served prior to the afternoon service.
St. Paul’s Gospel Concert
St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, in Laurel, will be having a gospel concert featuring “Reunion.” This program will begin at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 30. “Reunion is based in Princess Anne, Md. The church is located on Old Stage Road, just east of US 13. For more information, phone 856-6107.

Choices of Heart Conference
Ladies of all ages and teen girls ages 13-17 are invited to the 2005 “Choice of the Heart” Conference, Friday, March 4, and Saturday, March 5, at the Atlanta Road Alliance Church in Seaford. Christie Miller, wife, mother, English and drama teacher, will be the keynote speaker. The weekend includes 12 workshops.

A local trio, “Abundant Joy,” will minister in music.
Two-day registration for adults is $25; one day for adults is $15. Two day registration for teen girls is $10; one day is $5. Doors open at 6 p.m. on Friday and the sessions are from 7-10:15 p.m. Saturday begins with a light breakfast at 7:45 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. sessions. Register early as seating is limited. No child care will be available. From U.S. 13 take Rt. 20 west and turn right on Atlanta Road (between Rite Aid and Eckerds Drug Store) and continue on Atlanta Road for two miles and the church is on the right.
