Epworth Homecoming
Epworth Christian School announces homecoming events to take place Friday, Jan. 19. The varsity girls basketball team will play Holly Grove Christian School at 4 p.m. Immediately following, former Epworth varsity stars will challenge each other in an alumni versus alumni basketball game. Homecoming court is slated to commence at 7 p.m., at which time the Homecoming king and queen will be crowned. Varsity boys are scheduled to play Holly Grove Christian at 7:30. The school plans to honor its past kings and queens as well as all alumni who attend the evening's activities.

Indoor Turkey Shoot
An indoor Turkey Shoot will be held at Nanticoke Sportsmen's Club, Bethel-Concord Road, on Saturday, Jan. 20, at noon. Food and drinks will be available. Prizes will be turkeys, hams and money. For information call 629-9199.

Banquet will honor Neill
A tribute "Role Model" Banquet will be held in Sussex County on Saturday, Jan. 27, to honor Delaware native and Olympic Gold Medalist Mike Neill. A member of the United States 2000 Olympic Baseball team, Neill was a major contributor to the teams winning of the Gold during the Summer Games in Sidney, Australia. Neill, who was born in Seaford, graduated from Seaford High School and played high school sports. The Mike Neill "Role Model" Banquet is part of the Annual Boys and Girls Club Festival for Youth, which raises money for positive youth development programming. The banquet will be held at the Western Sussex Boys and Girls Club, Seaford, beginning at 6 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults and $7 for children 12 and under. For ticket information call 628-3789.

Children's Theater at DTCC
"A Woman Called Truth," will be performed Jan. 26, 26 and 29; and "The Velveteen Rabbit" will be performed on April 3-5. Tickets are $5 a seat. Teachers should call and reserve space as soon as possible. For details call 856-4560.
