Bethany UMC plans revival
The Bethany United Methodist Church at Lowes Crossroads near Millsboro will host a winter revival Jan. 14, 15 and16 at 7:30 each evening. Everyone is welcome.

Traditional mass planned
A Latin mass according to the Missal of 1962 is celebrated on the third Sunday of every month at 3 p.m. at Holy Cross Church in Dover. The mass is always a Missa Cantata using traditional Gregorian chant. For further information, call 302-674-5905 or 302-629-8863.

Groundbreaking planned
Trinity United Methodist Church (near Trap Pond) will hold a ground-breaking ceremony for a new multi-purpose building on Sunday, Jan. 16. Morning worship will be at 10 and the groundbreaking will follow at 11:30.
School reps to visit church
The Laurel-Mt. Pleasant Charge is expecting company on Jan. 23. King's Church will welcome HOST mentors from the Laurel School District, St. George's Church will greet Head Start staff and Mt. Pleasant Church will host the Laurel girl's basketball team, the Lady Bulldogs.
The guests will be recognized by the churches, which are emphasizing the need for personal ministry, as people who exemplify team building and a spirit of giving one's best.
"Our folks are exploring the numerous, exciting possibilities for ministries in each of our churches," says the Rev. Barbara Wilson.
"Our guests set an encouraging example of giving and we are happy to welcome them."
